In a confirmation of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's political plans, his brother on Sunday said the actor was likely to take the political plunge in August. "Announcement will happen in August and it will definitely be in favour of what people want," Nagendra Babu, a prominent film producer, told reporters at Ongole in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. Replying to a query, he indicated that welfare of farmers, workers, women and backward classes would be the main agenda of the political party to be launched by the superstar. Earlier this month, Chiranjeevi's brother-in-law and close aide All Aravind too said Chiranjeevi was likely to take the political plunge in August, a month considered auspicious to the superstar. "He will definitely respect the wishes of people and enter politics. I think he is likely to announce the decision in August," Aravind said. Meanwhile, a large number of female fans of Chiranjeevi held a convention in Hyderabad to discuss women issues. The participants expressed confidence that Chiranjeevi would sincerely work for their uplift.
