Asman Jah Bahadur's full name with titles was, His Excellency, Nawab Rafat Jung, Bashir-ud-Daula, Umdat-ul-Mulk II, Azam-ul-Umara, Amir-e-Kabir, Sir Asman Jah Bahadur, K.C.I.E.
 
 When Nawab Afzal-ud-Daula died in 1869, Asman Jah Bahadur was made the Minister of Justice. When Sir Salar Jung I went to England in 1857, he acted as Co-Regent also.
 
 Nawab Asman Jah was a famous administrator and took charge of the office of Prime Minister of Hyderabad in 1888 and continued in that post till 1894.
