Mohd. Abdul Najeeb Qureshi emerged the fastest man in the Andhra Pradesh senior and junior (under 20 years) inter-district athletic meet that got under way at the Railway Recreation Club (RRC) grounds, Secunderabad on Saturday. In the men’s 100m dash, the Hyderabad sprinter clocked 11 seconds, followed by Ranga Reddy district’s Anooj Chowdary and Md. Baba of Nizamabad. Earlier, the meet was inaugurated by chief guest A. Narasimha Reddy, Chairman, Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh. The results: Men: 100m: 1. Mohd. Abdul Najeeb Qureshi (Hyd) 11.0s; 2. Anooj Chowdary (RR); 3. Md. Baba (Nzb).
